Membership

Article 1 (Name)

The name of this organization shall be the “Aonishiki Official Fan Club” (hereinafter referred to as the “Club”).

Article 2 (Purpose)

The sole purpose of the Club shall be to provide both spiritual and material support to Grand Sumo Wrestler Aonishiki (hereinafter referred to as “Aonishiki”), to facilitate his devotion to the art of sumo and the advancement of his rank, and concurrently to contribute to the development and promotion of sumo culture.

Article 3 (Activities)

In order to achieve the purpose set forth in the preceding Article, the Club shall engage in the following activities:

1. Support activities for Aonishiki regarding his bouts, training, and personal life.
2. Encouragement and cheering activities for Aonishiki during official tournaments (Honbasho) and other events.
3. Public relations activities to promote and communicate Aonishiki’s sumo culture both domestically and internationally.
4. Other matters necessary to achieve the objectives of the Club.

Article 4 (Membership)

Members of the Club shall consist of individuals or corporations who endorse the purpose of the Club and have completed the prescribed enrollment procedures.

Article 5 (Membership Fees)

1. Members shall pay the admission fee and annual membership fees stipulated separately.
2. Paid membership fees and admission fees shall not be refunded under any circumstances.

Article 6 (Management)

The management and asset administration of the Club shall be conducted entirely by the Secretariat. Members shall not raise any objections regarding the management methods of the Club or the activity policies of Aonishiki.

Article 7 (Prohibited Acts)

Members shall not engage in any of the following acts:

1. Acts that defame the reputation of the Club or run counter to its purposes.
2. Acts that unduly interfere with Aonishiki’s training, bouts, or personal life.
3. Commercial, political, or religious activities utilizing the Club.

Article 8 (Withdrawal and Expulsion)

1. When a member wishes to withdraw from the Club, they shall notify the Secretariat.
2. If a member violates this Covenant or significantly damages the honor and reputation of Aonishiki or the Club, the Secretariat may expel the member at its sole discretion.

Article 9 (Bylaws)

Any matters not provided for in this Covenant shall be determined solely by the Secretariat.
